MY STORY

Twenty-one years ago, I was born in Saint Paul, Minnesota. As a kid, I always loved coming up with crazy stories and sharing them with the world, despite how silly they sometimes were. From the very start, I knew how much power stories have, and I knew that I needed to dedicate my life to telling them.

I didn't find my medium of film until much later. Throughout high school, I felt lost. I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life, I wasn't happy with where I was, and I knew I needed to take a risk. So, I enrolled in Arizona State University, all the way across the country, with a degree in film on a whim.

Immediately, I knew I had made the right choice. Diving into the film analysis of the early years of film school, I instantly began to appreciate film as a medium and realized that this was the best way to tell a story, to tell my stories. Movies like Hereditary, Jurassic Park, and Parasite all opened my eyes to the power and beauty of telling a story in this medium.

That brings us to the present, where I have completed my degree in Film & Media Production with a minor in Business at Arizona State University. Currently, I am based in Los Angeles, California, and am currently searching for employment in the industry.

As a filmmaker, I aim to create films that provoke real social change and have a positive impact on the world. My films should be accessible to all and hurt no one, which is what I strive towards. Thanks for reading!
